David Ebner one of the foremost makers of American contemporary furniture, and pivotal to his career was Mr. Ebner’s outstanding inclusion in “Exploration II” The New Furniture at the America Craft Museum. Through the use of stripped-down classic forms, David has updated and extended the mode of furniture, solidified by Wharton Esherick, George Nakashima, Sam Maloof, and the early Wendell Castle-per John Perreault. Above, the bronze coat rack Scallion – originally crafted in ash woods, both still prove to be one of Davids’s most favored works. Signed and numbered.
